Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts has appointed Rick Erdos as general manager for its property in Bahrain.

Erdos, an Australian national, joins the Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain from the Radisson Hotel Pudong Century Park, Shanghai.

He brings more than two decades of international hotel management expertise of which 16 years was with Radisson.

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts is the first class full service brand of The Rezidor Hotel Group.

Jean-Marc Busato, area vice-president of The Rezidor Hotel Group said:

 “We are confident that Rick’s leadership skills and his knowledge of the Radisson brand will help grow this diverse property and operate with maximum results through effective yield and people management.” 

The residence and spa is adjacent to the 246-room Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, which is in the heart of Bahrain’s capital, Manama City.

The residence has 121 luxury apartments and the spa has a range of facilities including a separate male spa and ladies only indoor pool, 12 ladies treatment rooms, seven men’s treatment rooms and five pools.

National Hotels Company is a public Bahraini Shareholding Company.

The company was incorporated in 1973 and its shares are traded on Bahrain Stock Exchange.

National Hotels Company owns The Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, Residence and Spa, the prominent 5 star Luxury hotel and residential property in Bahrain.

Major shareholders of the company are Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), Kuwait Investment Company (KIC), Bahrain Pension Fund Commission and members of the late Ahmed Al Zayani family.

The board of directors consists of Faisal Ahmed Zayani who is the company chairman, Yousef Dakhil Al Dakhil who is the vice-chairman and managing director of the company.

The general manager of the company is A Rahman Morshed.
