Saudi Arabia's Sabic, a global leader in the chemical industry, recently participated in the Saudi American Forum, on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), held under the title "Accelerating Economic Growth and International Partnerships".

The forum, which was held in Los Angeles (US), saw the company explore the future of global trade and growth, in the presence of a group of small and medium-sized companies with outstanding performance from the US and Saudi Arabia, a Saudi Press Agency report said.

Sabic, which operates in more than 50 countries, participated in the key high-level talks and highlighted the role of large companies in empowering SMEs, as key pillars of economic growth, it said.

The forum, organised by the Saudi-American Business Council, aimed to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, in local and international markets, by giving serious entrepreneurs access to specialised business advice and employment opportunities, with leading multinationals in the world, added the report.
