Iran kicks off solar power plant operations

Iran has put into operation a 100-kilowatt solar power plant in Isfahan, a report said.
The solar plant has been invested by an industrial company active in the field of electricity and energy with cooperation of Isfahan Science and Research Township, reported Irna.
The annual capacity of the power plant using photovoltaic cells is 210,000 kilowatts of electricity.
The power plant has a total of 322 units of 310-kilowatt solar panels and two 50-kilowatt invertors, which prevent generation and dissemination of 150,000 kg of dioxide carbone annually, the report said.
