Shanahan Engineering's work is crucial to the Jazan
Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Project.

Shanahan Engineering wins O&M contract from Sepco

DUBLIN, May 31, 2017

Shanahan Engineering has been awarded an operations and maintenance (O&M) compilation contract by Sepco Electric Power Construction Corporation for their project in Saudi Arabia.

The contract is for the production of the O&M manual for the Jazan Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Project. The work will be completed by Shanahan Engineering’s Consultancy Services department from their head office in Dublin, Ireland.

A spokesperson from Sepco said: “The work completed by Shanahan Engineering is crucial to the Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle power plant at the Jizan Refinery facility as it will produce 2,400MW of much needed electricity to the area, adding significant value to the plant.”

James Greaney, CEO of Shanahan Engineering, said: “We are pleased to be awarded this contract by Sepco, this project represents the start of a new and exciting business relationship with a large prominent Chinese Construction Business.
