Empower's 8-step summer campiagn gets solid response

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) said its ‘8 Step Educational Summer Campaign’ to promote energy efficiency in the hot season has received an overwhelming response from customers.

The campaign, which is wrapping up soon, focuses on raising awareness among the customers about best practices to reduce energy consumption, said the statement from Empower.

The campaign's objective is to ensure Empower’s customers’ happiness by providing sustainable cooling service.

The 8 easy steps of the campaign include - closing curtains, sealing door/window cracks, tinting glass doors/windows, reducing heat sources, checking AC thermostat, keeping  AC filters clean, arranging periodic home maintenance and paying bills on time, it stated.

This will slim customers’ cooling bills during summer as well as save energy consumption, said the statement.

Empower has called upon its customers to stay optimally connected to its district cooling services this summer to beat the heat of forthcoming summer.

"Maintaining homes prior to summer period has multi benefits as we are delighted to have the opportunity to increase awareness of residents in the UAE on this important campaign," remarked Empower CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar.

"We are firmly committed to ensure a sustainable future for new generations that rely less on conventional energy sources. Our teams are also very well-prepared to acton fast emergency cases," he stated.

Accoridng to him, the company offers a range of communication channels to connect with its customers such as communicating with customer service centres or via email.
