Indonesia plans long-term oil buy from Iran

TEHRAN, February 27, 2017

Indonesia is planning to purchase of crude oil from Iran on the basis of long-term supply agreements, a top official said.

Indonesia had purchased one million barrels of oil from Iran for a relevant compatibility checks with its refineries, explained Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, according to an Iran Daily report, which cited Press TV.

Once the check is successful, Jakarta would go ahead with concluding a long-term supply deal with Tehran in the near future, he added.
