TEHRAN, November 29, 2016
Schlumberger, the world’s largest oil driller by market value, has signed a preliminary deal to study an Iranian oilfield with the National Iranian Oil Company, a report said.
Schlumberger said the deal does not involve the execution of oilfield services operations and it intends to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries where it operates, according to Iran Daily.
Accordingly, the company would be required to study the formations of Shadegan, Parsi and Rag-e Sefid oil fields in Khuzestan, Shana news agency said.
The projects would be carried out within the framework of Iran’s new generation of oil contracts.
