Natpet to highlight new polypropylene resin grades at K 2016,
in collaboration with Haitian, WeiLi and Milliken

Saudi petchem firm set for German trade show

RIYADH, October 6, 2016

Saudi Arabia-based National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet) is set to introduce its new polypropylene products, including two new grades, at the upcoming K 2016 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Saudi Arabia-based National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet) said it plans to introduce its new range of polypropylene resins, including two new grades, at the upcoming K 2016 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.

A leading fair for the plastics and rubber industry, K 2016 will be held from October 19 to 26.

Natpet said it will be collaborating with Chinese machinery maker Haitian International and US-based specialty chemicals supplier Milliken & Company during the show.

Haitian will be moulding cosmetic caps using Natpet’s new Teldene R25MLT-MG random copolymer resin.

A leading producer of polypropylene products, Natpet plans to showcase its previously introduced Teldene R40MLT grade at the K show in the form of a finished product – storage containers in different colours.

The R40MLT, which also contains Millad NX- 8000, is especially suited for highly transparent housewares and household appliances and offers better fluidity for the thin-wall injection moulding process.

It offers excellent aesthetics, dimensional stability and isotropic shrinkage control for finished products. In addition to injection moulding, R40MLT is also suitable for injection stretch blow moulding, said the company in a statement.

Several other Natpet resin grades also will be on display such as, Teldene R25MLT, another highly clarified random PP copolymer; Teldene H03TF polypropylene homopolymer; Teldene B20ML, a reactor-grade impact copolymer for injection moulding, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
