Italy to boost Egypt energy projects

CAIRO, February 7, 2016

Italy will upgrade the Middle East Oil Refinery (Midor) in Egypt and support building a complex for petrochemical industries in Ain Sokhna, a report said.

It will update a number of combined-cycle power plants, added the Daily News Egypt report.

Qabil expected to see an increase in participation of Italian companies in large-scale projects, such as the Suez Canal Area Development project, the Golden Triangle, Al-Robeky City for leather industries, and the furniture city in Damietta.
