Petrol stations in Bahrain did a full day’s business in a matter of hours yesterday (January 11), as motorists rushed to fill up ahead of the midnight price increase. Juffair Al Fateh fuel station manager Mohammed Abdul Munim said more than 200 drivers fuelled up between 3pm and 5pm yesterday, following the 2pm announcement of petrol price increases, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
