Egypt’s petroleum ministry names EGPC head

Egypt's petroleum minister Tarek El Molla on Thursday named Mohamed Al-Masry as head of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the petroleum ministry said in a statement.
El Molla himself held the position before being named minister of petroleum in a new government formed in September.
Al-Masry has served as deputy head of Egypt's state gas board EGAS for operations and networks since last February. - Reuters
