Adipec to draw over 85,000 participants

ABU DHABI, August 18, 2015

More than 85,000 buyers, industry professionals, delegates and speakers are expected to participate in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec), the largest oil and gas event in the Middle East, African and Asian Sub-continent, to be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in November.

The four-day event will take place from November 9 to 12, and will be held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The event will be hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and is projected to attract 2,000 exhibiting companies, 23 national pavilions, 15 national oil companies (Noc’s), and 15 international oil companies (Ioc’s) across the four days of the show, creating an ideal platform for petroleum professionals worldwide to drive and support innovation within the industry, said a statement.

Under the theme of ‘Innovation & Sustainability in a New Energy World’, dmg events and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as conference organisers have developed a record breaking and comprehensive programme that is host to two Ministerial sessions, two CEO plenary sessions, six panel sessions, three industry breakfast sessions, three topical luncheons, 79 technical sessions, and numerous knowledge sharing ePoster sessions, it said.

Adipec is widely recognised and established as the world’s second largest event for the oil and gas professionals, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
