Lux Assure in move to register with Adnoc
DUBAI, November 6, 2014
UK-based Lux Assure, a leading oil and gas asset integrity and corrosion management firm, is in the process of registering with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), the state-owned oil company of the UAE.
Obtaining the Adnoc registration will make Lux Assure an official supplier to the Adnoc group, further enhancing its profile in the region and expanding its reach and capabilities.
“The Adnoc registration will be another major element of our Middle East expansion plans and we are confident that this will open up a whole host of opportunities in the area for Lux Assure,” said Lux Assure CEO Charles Cruickshank.
The company appointed three Middle Eastern agents in recent months in a bid to extend its reach in the UAE.
Most recently appointed was Muscat-based Black Gold, which offers business and technical advice and cutting edge technology to the oil and gas sector.
In April, Lux Assure also entered into sales agreements with Middle East Oilfield Services (MEOFS) in Kuwait, a technology provider to the upstream and downstream sectors, and Abu Dhabi-based Consolidated Suppliers, one of the main service providers to the oil and gas industry in UAE.
Together the three agents will support Lux Assure’s Middle East market penetration strategy, acting as sales representatives and promoting and assisting with the deployment of its chemical monitoring technologies, a statement said.
“Appointing these strategically located partners is a major milestone within our expansion plans for the Middle East. We are already starting to see the benefits, with new relationships being established and by having on-the-ground support readily available for existing clients,” said Cruickshank.
“This Middle Eastern focus is a key part of Lux Assure’s ambitious global growth strategy, which has also seen distribution partners appointed in North America.
“The last 12 months have seen significant, positive changes for Lux Assure as a result of investment and expanding our international presence. We will continue to ensure that our innovative and unique technologies are recognised within the global marketplace and our focus on the Middle East will remain a large part of this,” he added.
Lux Assure has bases in Edinburgh and Aberdeen and will be launching an entity in Dubai in early 2015, in addition to the Middle Eastern and North American partners. – TradeArabia News Service
