French firm to display solar lighting at Adipec

ABU DHABI, October 27, 2014

Carré Products, a leading French company in the design and manufacturing of solar lighting products, will be showcasing two innovative product ranges at the upcoming Adipec, a major energy sector exhibition, in Abu Dhabi.

Adipec (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference) 2014 will run from November 10 to 13 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

Carré Products will feature its Lusola (bollard lights and columns) and Solaled (lamps of up to 8m) at Adipec as well as premium products for industry professionals. The company’s products cover a broad range of applications, including road lighting, lighting of industrial sites or farms in addition to lighting of sites that are isolated from the power grid.

The batteries used are manufactured by ARTS Energy, a long-established French Nickel battery manufacturer, and are especially suited to operate at high temperature thereby preserving the battery life even in extreme conditions (70-degree Celsius), a statement said.

The “smartness” of the solutions lies in tailored electronic control and management. A mini-computer monitors the operation of the various components and the outside environment. In this way, the products automatically adapt to their environment and the weather conditions, maximise capacity and increase the service life of the system in particular the battery that can last 10 years without maintenance.

Therefore, as a result of the radio communication developed by Carré Products, lighting units communicate with each other and towards the outside world in order to provide new features such as remote system monitoring.

With Carré Products, it is now possible to obtain high-performance long-lasting lighting without being connected to the power grid, according to the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
