The Abu Dhabi-based International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena) will host a conference on the changing power sector next month.

On the occasion of the launch of its first institutional publication ‘Rethinking Energy’, Irena will host a presentation and discussion about the ‘Transformation of the Global Energy System’, a statement said.

The event will be held on September 7 at 7:00pm at the Al Mudhaif Ballroom, St. Regis-Nation Towers, Abu Dhabi Corniche.

The discussion will explore the trends that have driven the change in the power sector, how the technology is evolving, who is financing it, and the wider benefits it will bring, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
