Oman Oil Company names new chief

Oman Oil Company has appointed Isam bin Saud Al Zadjali as its new chief executive officer, said a report.
Al Zadjali comes with more than two decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, having served as senior vice president business development for the Mena region at Occidental and president of Occidental Oman, said the Oman Daily Observer report.
The company is a wholly-owned by the government, established in 1996 to pursue investment opportunities in the wider energy sector both inside and outside Oman, it said.
OOC aims at driving economic diversification and growth, by facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology to maximise the value of Oman's natural resources, it added.
