70 HR experts meet at Dubai petchem forum

More than 70 leaders in human resources (HR) are meeting to discuss strategies for challenges in the oil, gas and petrochemical HR sector at a major annual HR summit that opened in Dubai today (May 13).
The ninth edition of the HR Strategies in Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals forum, themed – ‘Inspiring the future leaders’ was officially inaugurated today at Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa Hotel in Dubai by the forum chairman Don Shoultz, head of Learning and Development from BP, Exploration & Production Segment.
The summit encouraged a world of ideas, solutions and open-dialogues on the evolving role of the HR function and the need to develop future leaders.
“In order to develop new leaders of the industry, radical action is required to overcome entrenched and outmoded attitudes to deliver a skilled, diverse workforce committed to the industry’s sustained success.
