260 firms take part in SAOGE

Dhahran, October 11, 2010

More than 260 companies representing 34 countries from all over the world are taking part in the 3rd Saudi Arabia International Oil and Gas Exhibition (SAOGE), which is being held in Dhahran.

The event, being organised under the patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of the Eastern Region, will run till tomorrow (October 12).

The exhibition plays host to several major multinational companies in the oil and gas sector.

Adel bin Abdul-Aziz Oumi, general manager of Dhahran International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) said: “We have organized SAOGE for the third consecutive year with our partner International Exhibition Services (IES) and year on year we have increased both the quality and capacity of the event. This year alone we have had to expand the exhibition space by 10 per cent to accommodate demand in spite of predictions on the contraction of the oil sector.“

This year, as in the past years of SAOGE, the exhibition has attracted much attention from industry leaders, researchers and specialists in the industry. –TradeArabia News Service
