Italy's ENI hopes to reach output of at least 250,000 barrels per day from Iraq's Zubair oilfield, an ENI executive said on Tuesday.

'We hope to reach at least 200,000 to 250,000 barrels per day,' Gino Giannone, an ENI executive, told reporters during a tour of one of Iraq's oilfields.

Current output from Zubair oilfield is about 180,000 bpd, an official with Iraq's South Oil company said. – Reuters
