SAI (Société d’Acoustique Industrielle), a specialist in complete soundproofing solutions in the fields of energy and industry,  is taking part in the World Future Environment Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The exhibition, which opened yesterday (January 18) will run till January 21.

The solutions developed by the company reduce noise levels to a minimum, whatever their sources, said a statement.

SAI has also distinguished itself in the design of oil separators for the pollution control of combustion engines by filtering oil mist.

SAI is specialised in the acoustic treatment of power generation and cogeneration units, gas turbines and engines. For the energy generating activity (gas turbine/alternator), SAI has developed a new patented oil mist eliminator technology using high density glass fibre filter cartridges, it said.

“Compared to other filtration technologies on the market, its main advantage lies in it efficiency of 99.9 per cent, even with aerosols made up mainly of particle of approximately 0.2 microns. Particle of this size are some of the most difficult to intercept and they are mainly emitted by rotating machines. This type of filtration is also applicable to mixture of other fluid. This technology may be applied to the ventilation of oil sumps, machine tool, etc,” said the statement.
 
Furthermore, a pressure regulation system is used to maintain a constant negative pressure, whatever the level of clogging of the cartridge, which is particularly important for rotating bearing machines which operate with an oil film, it said.

SAI's 50 engineers and technicians develop specific products and provide a turnkey service for their customers. Thanks to its acoustic, aeraulic and mechanical computing resources, the engineering department produces 2D and 3D project, it said. - TradeArabia News Service
