70 global firms for Saudi gas show

Over 70 regional and international exhibitors are expected to showcase the latest innovations, products and services in the oil and gas sector during an upcoming exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Oil & Gas 2010, a leading B2B networking trade expo in Saudi Arabia, will take place from January 17 to 20 at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre.
The show will provide a convenient gateway for international investors and business organisations to explore and initiate various high-value projects in Saudi Arabia, by gathering leading trade exhibitors and visitors from countries such as China, Germany, UK, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Iran.
'More than 70 local and international exhibitors, including two official pavilions from Germany and China, will be showcasing the latest equipment, technology, best practices and innovations in the oil and gas sector during Saudi Oil & Gas 2010,” said Fadi Keyrouz, event manager of Saudi Oil & Gas at Riyadh Exhibitions.
“Diplomats, high-profile government officials, and several other VIPs will also be participating in various networking activities to discuss vital emerging business opportunities and new investment prospects,” he added.
“Moreover, the international exhibition will serve as an important information gateway for global and regional industry players to understand the legislative framework and business structure that defines the Saudi oil and gas sector.'
Workshops focusing on various technical issues will be incorporated in the four-day trade exhibition.
