Petrofac opens office in Sharjah

Petrofac, a leading international provider of facilities solutions to the oil and gas production and processing industry, on Sunday officially inaugurated its new office building in Sharjah.
The group’s three divisions and corporate functions are now all co-located within the new Petrofac House.
Project management of the building was undertaken by Petrofac’s engineering, procurement and construction personnel with local building contractor, Al Thuriah Building Contracting, and interior design company, Design Design.
The 18-storey building includes 14 floors of office accommodation, with seating capacity of more than 2,000 staff, four floors of dedicated car parking, a 100-seat auditorium, a cafeteria and paramedic facilities.
The building also boasts of an integrated building management system and state-of-the-art data centre, fully-equipped conferencing facilities and gymnasium.
The new office signifies the continued expansion of Petrofac with the move consolidating all its major services in one location and providing a more connected business offering to customers.
Maroun Semaan, chief executive of Petrofac’s Engineering & Construction division, said: "All this could not have been possible without the support of the Government of Sharjah, under the leadership of Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamad Al Qassimi, member of the UAE supreme council and ruler of Sharjah."
