Dubai, October 16, 2007
The GMMOS Group is anticipating strong new business opportunities from the Caspian region following a successful presence at the 15th edition of the annual KIOGE international oil and gas exhibition held in Kazakhstan.
GMMOS is a Dubai-headquartered equipment manufacturer, supplier and provider catering to the oil and gas, shipping and construction industries worldwide,
The company believes it’s ideally positioned to take a slice of the projected $140 billion of foreign investment earmarked for Kazakhstan’s oil infrastructure development, not least thanks to its direct market presence and international quality certification credentials.
GMMOS Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, GMMOS Kazakhstan is the CIS country’s only oil equipment provider bearing the quality certification stamps U, U2, & S of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Engineers R Stamp.
“Our presence in KIOGE gave us the opportunity to meet with many existing and potential clients from the Caspian region and the rest of the world and we have received highly encouraging signs to believe that GMMOS Kazakhstan’s already successful market presence will grow exponentially together with the country’s massive growth potential,” said Elias Nassif, president & CEO, GMMOS Group.
“There is room for growth in virtually every sub sector associated with oil extraction, processing, and transportation with prospects including geological exploration, geophysics, hydrogeology, drilling, research and data management, laboratory studies, oil spill cleanup technologies, and pipeline equipment and services,” he said.
GMMOS Kazakhstan works with a number of local and international companies in Kazakhstan such as ENI-AGIP, TengizChevroil and the Kazakhstan National Oil Company, KazMunaiGaz.
In addition, GMMOS Kazakhstan recently won many contracts including one for pig launchers and receivers for joint venture between PetroGas FZE and Enoc-subsidiary Dragon Oil of Turkmenistan.
