Nissan Saudi Arabia offers test-drive for new Navara
RIYADH, March 17, 2017
Nissan Saudi Arabia recently launched a three-month nationwide test-drive programme providing customers with the experience of testing the all-new pick-up Navara.
The event showcased Navara’s capabilities as the ideal vehicle for users who depend on their pick-up for professional and personal use, said a statement from the company.
Simon Frith, managing director, Nissan Saudi Arabia, said: “With segment leadership across many areas, the company is directing its efforts through this project to provide Nissan enthusiasts and customers with an opportunity to experience the real potentials of the all-new pick-up which can only be experimented physically through a utility rugged test drive.”
Amer Ali, a Nissan customer, said: “Previous to my test drive, I could never imagine such technologies can be included in this automotive segment such as the 6-speed manual transmission, the Hill Start Assist preventing backward rolling on hills, as well as Hill Decent Assist limiting downhill speeds.”
“Finally, I could easily feel the striking power and torque in the 2.5l engine on the new Navara that went through the rugged terrain with total ease,” he said.
Firth added: “In-line with our company’s promise of ‘Innovation that Excites’, the new pick-up concept merges the previous Navara modernity with the Nissan Pick-up’s toughness which has made it one of the best-selling pick-ups in the GCC over the past decades.”
The Navara introduces an array of new features and in-car technology to a segment that has traditionally been slow to adopt the very latest in comfort and safety while delivering unmatched fuel efficiency and the lowest maintenance costs for its class, said the statement.
Many of these features set the benchmark for this segment and provide customers with more advanced levels of technology than ever seen in a pick-up.
The programme kicked off in January in the Northern and Western regions, and will cover the Southern, Eastern and Central regions in the coming two months, it stated. – TradeArabia News Services
