The 2017 Camry...new features

Al-Futtaim Motors launches new Camry in UAE

DUBAI, August 15, 2016

Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota in the UAE, has launched the new 2017 Camry, the popular mid-size sedan.

The new model adds a host of safety features to the already luxurious interior and refined exterior styling, and retains the marque’s legendary quality, durability and reliability, as well as its best-in-class low total cost of ownership.

The new model includes additional  new safety features such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), rear fog lights and Tyre Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) that now come as standard across the full Camry range.

The 2017 Camry retains the same 2.5 L engine producing 181 horsepower, delivering class-top engine performance, while the responsive handling and heightened comfort were achieved thanks to the more dynamic suspension which was introduced last year.

“Last year’s introduction of the new generation Camry was met with great enthusiasm, proving again why the Camry is one of the best-selling cars within the Toyota range,” said Saud Abbasi, managing director of Toyota at Al-Futtaim Motors.

“More than 15 million Camry have been sold the world over, and well over 150,000 in the UAE alone since the car’s introduction 24 years ago in our market. Since then, the Camry has proven time and time again that it deserves the recognition and respect that it has earned over many decades, thanks to its distinctive exterior styling, comfortable and spacious interior, as well as unsurpassed technology and safety features,” he said.

The 2017 Toyota Camry maintains its competitive pricing to continue being accessible to a larger customer base and  impressive fuel consumption of 14.7km/l.

A total of four grades are available, starting from Dh83,900 for the Camry S which includes the new tyre pressure monitor system, vehicle stability control and rear fog lamps, while keeping features such as keyless entry, steering wheel audio control, cruise control and Bluetooth from last year.

The new Limited package now includes a distinct front sport grille with red garnish, along with a rear bumper with red garnish. New 17” 15-spoke alloy wheels lend the Limited Camry a more aggressive wide stance, while the silver sport interior package and leather seats add a touch of luxury. The Limited package is priced at DH103,900. - TradeArabia News Service
