The Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced new bus service in the Western Region starting from Ramadan, in addition to many other modifications.

The seven new services covering the Western Region include:
*New service 653: Mezaira’a Bus Station to Mezaira’a Industrial Area. (Service, Mezara’a Bus Station > Liwa Hotel > Old Police Station> Marwan Roundabout > Rest House > Industrial Area)
*New Service 772 : Circle Service: Harmiya Residence > Mirfa Bus Station > Hospital > Mirfa Souq > Harmiya Residence
*New Service 862 : Ghayathi Bus Station <> Bida Muthawa
*New Service 863 : Ghayathi South Lulu Via Bus Station <> Ghayathi industrial Area
*New Service 686 : Ghayathi Bus Station <> Madinat Zayed Bus Station (Direct)
*New Service 762 : Tarif Bus Station <> Habshan Road Labor Camps

In addition to this, there are some route modified services and new stops as well. These include:

*Service 640 : Reroute the service to be : Mezaira’a Bus Station <> Arrada Farms
*Service 651 : Reroute the service to be : Mezaira’a Bus Station <> Tamani Farms Mosque
*Service 652 : Reroute the service to be : Mezaira’a Bus Station <> Mezaira’a south
*Service 655 : Reroute the service to be : Mezaira’a Bus Station <> Hameem Shabiya Mosque Via Hameem Farms
*Service 660 : Reroute the service to be : Madinat Zayed Bus Station <> Mezaira’a Bus Station; Added new stops at Tamani Farm and Tamani Palace on E45
*Service 670 : Added new stops are: Tarif Bus Station <> Madinat Zayed Bus Station, both direction added new stops Towards Tarif, Sulphur Camp and E45 Labor Camps (Hyundai) Towards Madinat Zayed, E45 Sulphur Plant.

*Service X60 and X62: Added new stops in Abu Al Abyad ADNOC Fod in both directions
*Service X65: Reroute the service to be: Hameem Shah Plant (extended to 4th Round About) <> Abu Dhabi Bus Station; Added new stop at Sahil ADNOC Fod in the Abu Dhabi direction.

As part of the new arrangements, a few of the services have been cancelled including Service 650: Hameem farms > Liwa > Mezaira’a Bus Station; Service 680: Ghayathi Farms > Ruwais Compound Bus Station and Service 681: Camel Farms Terminus > Ruwais ADNOC Compound Bus Station.-TradeArabia News Service
