Nissan Sentra secures record sales growth in Mideast
DUBAI, March 9, 2016
Nissan’s compact saloon, the Sentra, has recorded an increase in sales during the 2015 model year in the competitive 'C' segment.
While sales across the GCC in this segment have fallen by some 13 per cent, sales of the Nissan Sentra rose one per cent in the period covering December up to date versus the same period last year, said a statement.
Samir Cherfan, Nissan Middle East’s managing director, said: “The continued success of the Nissan Sentra in a declining segment shows how we are in tune with our customers, who demand style, practicality and value for money.
"The Sentra is good looking, is well equipped and offers class leading safety and reliability – no wonder it is continuing to appeal to this key market while the segment is suffering decreased sales numbers.”
In order to maintain the keen interest shown in the Sentra, Nissan is arranging for new buyers to be entered into a prize draw, said the statement.
The tickets are up for grabs to the semi-finals and final of the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in India during April this year. It will include return flights and full hotel accommodation, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
