DUBAI, October 13, 2015

Sony has launched its MEX-XB100BT CD Receiver that packs the world’s first 100W x 4 (max) high power class-D amplifier along with an array of sound-enhancement technologies.

It aims at creating an energetic, vibrant sound - making it the perfect partner for all driving adventures, said a statement.

The Mega Bass will allow users to enhance low frequency tones that deliver rich and solid bass and add real depth to playlists.

Bass enthusiasts can also enjoy the best matching XB full range speaker series that enhances the audio experience with no hassle of adding a subwoofer to the system.

Time Alignment and 10-band Equalizer enabled by Sony’s sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology will allow users to customise the sound output for best acoustic results. In order to play music saved on devices, users can download the Sony SongPal app from the Google Play Store and connect smartphones to the MEX-XB100BT via one-touch NFC/ Bluetooth.

Satoru Arai, head, Sony Middle East Marketing Company, said: “It is becoming increasingly important for consumers to stay connected when they are on the go and especially when they are driving.

"The MEX-XB100BT CD Receiver provides an enhanced audio experience, while still ensuring that people have access to all their functionality, but with minimal distractions.”

The voice control function will allow users to take control of basic car audio functions and smartphone apps such as receiving phone calls, listening to messages and notifications, as well as operating functions such as navigation and music apps, without ever having to touch or look at the smartphone.

Voice control is also available for iOS devices as the MEX-XB100BT CD receiver is equipped with Siri Eyes Free. Siri can call friends, select and play music, hear and compose text messages, read notifications, and allow users to get things done with minimal distractions when behind the wheel.

The two-zone Dynamic Colour Illuminator can brighten up the car with the CD receiver’s integrated LEDs. Users can choose from up to 35,000 LED variations to match the in-car décor with separate colour assignment on high contrast LCD. - TradeArabia News Service
