Audi Al Nabooda signs deal with Dubai Sports Council

Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles has partnered with Dubai Sports Council in a bid to support the organisations high profile events throughout the year.
The exclusive distributor for Audi in Dubai and the Northern Emirates will provide more than 270 cars and drivers to Dubai Sports Council for athletes and VIPS at 11 high profile events including the ‘Dubai Tour’ and ‘Dubai Football Gala and Globe Soccer Awards,’ said a statement.
The new sponsorship agreement was signed the Al Nabooda Automobiles Audi showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, by Saeed Hareb, secretary general of Dubai Sports Council and Ali Al Nabooda, general manager, Audi Al Nabooda Automobiles.
“Our vision is to create a unique sporting community in Dubai and we highly appreciate the support we receive from Audi Al Nabooda Automobiles. We’re very much looking forward to developing and growing our successful partnership with them,” said Hareb.
“Sport is of extreme importance to the world of Audi so it is fitting that we are working with Dubai Sports Council to ensure their range of events are as successful as possible. We’re very passionate about sports and always seek opportunities to support the players, athletes, coaches, managers and the hundreds of people behind the scenes," said Al Nabooda.
“Hosting major sporting championships requires huge effort and we hope our fleet of Audi cars and drivers will ensure everyone travels around the city in comfort and luxury,” he said.
Al Nabooda Automobiles has worked with Dubai Sports Council across a wide range of special events that have featured in the Dubai sports calendar in recent years, including the star-studded Globe Soccer Conference and Awards, said the statement.
This year, the dealership will provide all car services for the conference, and gala ceremony, where the most dedicated and hard-working names in football are honoured for their excellence both on and off the pitch. Organised by Dubai Sports Council, the VIP event is presented by Audi with support from Al Nabooda Automobiles throughout December, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
