A proposal to open a pedestrian border crossing on King Fahad Causeway will be tabled by a leading Bahraini businessman. The initiative is the brainchild of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member Abdulhakim Al Shammary, who claims thousands of people would benefit every day, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
