Al Haddad offers Mercedes-Benz driving simulator

MANAMA, July 12, 2015

Al Haddad Motors, the sole distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Bahrain, is offering Driveclub driving simulator at its showroom in the kingdom.

The game operates from the latest ps4 system developer, Evolution Studio, and offers players the chance to win different challenges as they drive their way to the top vehicle, the AMG GT.

The simulator is equipped with a seat replica from the AMG GT along with similar steering wheel and pedals. The Driveclub experience was designed based on feedback from professional drivers and veterans of the car manufacturing industry.

The process emphasized attention to detail in order to mirror the feeling of driving the AMG GT along with other superior vehicles on the roads.

The AMG GT’s 462-horsepower along with the 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine accelerates the car from zero to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. The simulator allows players to (virtually) get behind the wheel of this stimulating racecar.

Paul Rustchynsky, the game’s design director, explained the extraordinary passion and hard work that went into designing such a sophisticated game.

“It sits in the middle between simulation and arcade. It’s grounded in realism, so the cars have a sense of weight, a tactile feel with the road. But, we want to make sure it’s easy to throw them around the corners. It’s all about having fun with the cars,” he said.

Graeme Newport, general manager of Al Haddad Motors, said: “We believe this is a special way to allow customers and fans to really get a feel for the AMG GT’s extraordinary driving experience. The precision, skill and passion that went into this simulator are evident in this perfect game.”
