Western Motors posts 43pc sales jump during Ramadan campaign

Western Motors, member of Al Fahim Group and one of the leading automotive distributors in the UAE market, has announced an average sales increase of 43 per cent during the June to August period, compared to the same period last year.
Engineer Mohammad Al Momani, general manager, said: “We decided to start our Ramadan offer on the Jeep range in Abu Dhabi early this year and provide them with an offer they can’t refuse. We started in June and closed the month with a sales increase of 73 per cent compared to 2013. In July, we witnessed another double-digit increase of 27 per cent, due to this incredible success, we decided to extend the offer to August. And, again, we thankfully closed that final month with a 28 per cent rise, compared to last year.”
The company also used a vigorous marketing campaign involving a raffle prize, radio spots, outdoor and print advertisements as well as an aggressive digital and social media promotion.
Western Motors concluded their three-month sales streak by presenting to the raffle prize winner a fully paid trip for a family of four to Disneyland in Hong Kong via Cathay Pacific Airways. Lucky Jeep customers who purchased their 4x4s in these three months received a free iPad mini, free V-Kool window tinting, one-million-kilometre warranty or five years, 30,000 km service or two years and a free ticket to Western Motors’ Jeep Jamboree event taking place in November, a company statement said.
Mohammad Mahmoud, sales manager, said: “Among our most popular models in this one-of-a-kind Ramadan campaign, were, the admired Grand Cherokee 3.6 Limited, the powerful SRT-8 6.4L and four-door Wrangler Sport which swept off-road enthusiasts between the ages of 30 and 45 off their feet.”
He added: “This coming quarter we have the full modified Jeep Wrangler available in our showrooms which fit the off roader people in UAE and displayed in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) which was held from September 10 to 13.”– TradeArabia News Service
