Bahrain F1 fans to win prizes in raffle draws

A host of raffle draws at next week's Formula One will reward 10 motorsport fans every 10 minutes with high-tech gadgets and technology.
The aptly named "Ten Every Ten" raffles offer up to 260 spectators seated in the Main Grandstand area the chance to win top-of-the-line electronics such as the iPhone 5S, iPad Air and Samsung S4, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
Draws will take place six times an hour during the 60-minute Formula One qualifying session on April 5 and throughout the 57-lap night race on April 6.
It is being held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) at Sakhir, which will play host to this year's Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix from April 4 to 6.
"The offer is only valid for fans seated in the Main Grandstand," said a BIC spokeswoman.
"Winners will be identified by their seat numbers, therefore they must be in their seat in order to claim their prize."
Main Grandstand tickets cost BD150 ($395.8) for the three-day race weekend and are available from BIC stands in Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall, on www.bahraingp.com or by calling 17450000. - TradeArabia News Service
