Mahmoudia, Volvo end Jordan tie-up

Mahmoudia Motors, a leading automobile distributor in Jordan, announced that upon its request, it was agreed with Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation to end their partnership in the Jordanian market.

This decision responds to the wishes of Mahmoudia Motors following careful deliberations with regards to the company’s future objectives and corporate strategy, a statement said.

Both Mahmoudia Motors and Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation confirmed that this latest development is the result of an amicable agreement between both parties.

Samir Khalid Rifai, chief operating officer of Mahmoudia Group, said: “Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation has been a great partner for Mahmoudia Motors in the Jordanian market. On behalf of Mahmoudia Motors, I would like to wish Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation the best of luck in its future endeavors.”

Mahmoudia Motors’ After Sales Center will continue to serve Volvo customers until further notice by Mahmoudia Motors and/or Volvo Cars Overseas Corporation, in turn ensuring that Volvo customers continue to receive premium services without any disruptions, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
