Nissan Micra sells out in Lebanon

Beirut, December 22, 2011

Rasamny-Younis Motor Company (Rymco), the exclusive dealer of Nissan Motors in Lebanon, has announced that it has sold out the all-new 2012 Nissan Micra in the country.

This follows record-breaking sales and heavy demand for the fourth generation of the iconic city car, a statement from the company said.

The new Micra, launched earlier this month by international superstar Nancy Ajram, has brought style and safety to the small car segment, resulting in a flood of interested buyers, the statement said.

Fayez Rasamny, chairman of Rymco, said the sell-out of the micra is a reflection of consumer demand for safety and style in the small car segment. “The new Micra is setting benchmarks in the small car segment and is course to lead in its class as a powerful, stylish, and fuel efficient city car. The micra is a step above the rest with ABS and four airbags as standard safety features,”

Boasting breakthrough packaging and small-car engineering, the five-door hatchback Nissan Micra offers exceptional value for money, priced from just $13,900 including VAT and registration complete with safety, performance and convenience features.

Its high standard safety features include anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, as well as four airbags- front, side and curtain airbags, the statement said.

In addition, it offers a range of convenience features such as a multifunction drive computer, central locking with remote keyless entry, power windows and mirrors, theft immobiliser and an outstanding sound system, and 6 speakers.

It has a powerful high performance engine of 1.5L with 97 hp. The all-new Nissan Micra comes in five colors and three grades to satisfy the various needs with a manual and two automatic transmission trims. All Nissan models come with a four-year warranty.

The next shipment of the 2012 Nissan Micra is expected to arrive in the beginning of 2012, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
