Hertz UAE has been voted as the top car rental company in the region by readers of Business Traveller Middle East magazine.

“This award is testament to the investment in our fleet of quality vehicles and the ongoing training we perform with our staff. It is all the more meaningful because it was voted for by business travellers who have recognised how we consistently deliver their needs in car rental,” said Nigel Johnson, managing director, Hertz UAE.

The awards are hosted by Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) magazine and recognise leaders in several categories related to high-end travel.

The BTME award comes as Hertz UAE prepares to launch its Hertz #1 Gold Club service at Abu Dhabi International Airport in May 2011, followed by Dubai International Aiport in the summer.

The loyalty programme offers superior service and a range of perks, allowing travellers to skip paper work and line-ups upon arrival at Hertz airport locations.

Gold Club customers will also have more choice when selecting their vehicle which will be waiting in designated parking steps away from the Hertz counter.

Hertz UAE recently expanded its network to 14 locations across the Emirates by opening an exclusive service desk at Abu Dhabi International Airport, a new branch at Etihad Plaza and a branch in Al Ain.-TradeArabia News Service
