Jaguar XF and XK sales up in Q1

British car manufacturer Jaguar has reported an increase of 29.4 per cent in worldwide sales of its XF model in the first quarter of 2010 against 2009, while the XK model sold 2.5 per cent more during the same period.
In March global sales of XF increased by 52.1 per cent, while XK sales improved by 4.5 per cent versus 2009, the company said.
'Our focus in all markets in the first quarter has been on the XK and XF,” said Mike O'Driscoll, managing director, Jaguar Cars.
“With XF we have enjoyed continued success since launch in early 2008, with strong volumes across our major markets. The XF also continues to win critical acclaim from the world's press that has included more than 60 international awards,” he added.
