Hertz UAE awarded Superbrands status

Hertz UAE, the market-leading car rental company, has been awarded Superbrand status for 2010.
The Superbrands council in the UAE consists of eminent industry figures including Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, Colm McLoughlin, managing director of Dubai Duty Free and Laila Suhail, CEO, Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment amongst others.
“We strongly believe that constant investment in our people yields results by providing our team with the skills set and autonomy to achieve greater customer service. Alongside this, our investment of buying 4,000 new cars this year reinforces our position as the car rental market leader in the UAE,” said Nigel Johnson, general manager Hertz UAE.
The recognition follows a strict selection process by the UAE Superbrands Council and over 2,500 marketing professionals from more than 3,000 brands within the UAE.
Superbrands is a worldwide independent arbiter on branding which began in 1994 and analyses the history and strength of different brands in over 40 countries.-TradeArabia News Service
