Al Ain picks Halcrow for traffic project
Dubai, January 10, 2010
Halcrow has been appointed by Al Ain Municipality to improve traffic movement in the private schools area of Al Ain in the UAE.
Halcrow will provide design and supervision services to relieve traffic congestion around the city’s numerous private schools, located in the same area. This will involve the construction of new roads, a new wadi crossing, four new signalised junctions and provision of services such as storm water drainage.
Halcrow has been working for over 57 years in the Middle East, but this is the company’s first project with Al Ain Municipality.
“This project will significantly improve traffic circulation in the area and we are committed to delivering a solution of the highest quality for our new client,” said Halcrow’s regional director for Abu Dhabi Sami Al-Qazzaz.-TradeArabia News Service
