Abu Dhabi Motors has signed a deal, gaining exclusive rights for AC Schnitzer in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The exclusivity deal comes as part of Abu Dhabi Motors’ expansion plan and a continuing promise to deliver the best vehicles and services to its customers.
Abu Dhabi Motors, exclusive importer for BMW, BMW Alpina, MINI and Rolls Royce in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, becomes the sole distributor of AC Schnitzer BMW and MINI vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain areas.
“AC Schnitzer is a world renowned German tuner for both BMW and MINI vehicles and this exclusivity deal means that our customers can now purchase these finely tuned machines locally,” said Arno Husselmann, general manager, Abu Dhabi Motors.
“Becoming the sole distributor of AC Schnitzer is perfect proof of our commitment to providing leading performance machines to the market and expanding our current line-up of vehicles which already covers BMW, BMW ALPINA and MINI.”
Based in Aachen, Germany, AC Schnitzer is also a provider of high quality BMW approved special car accessories such as wheels, aerodynamic kits, engine, exhaust and suspension modifications, as well as individual interior accessories including carbon fibre details, aluminium and leather trims, with a range of more than 2,000 products for BMW and MINI vehicles and over 20 years of experience.
AC Schnitzer was named best ‘BMW Tuner’ by Germany’s leading car trade magazine, ‘auto motor und sport’ for the year 2007, achieving this honour for the second year running.
“Our customers demand the best, and AC Schnitzer is a natural choice when it comes to premium performance vehicles without compromising quality, build and safety,” explained Husselmann.
The full range of AC Schnitzer vehicles includes the new BMW X5, the ACS3 Convertible based on the new BMW 3 Series Convertible, and the Z4 based ACS4 Roadster and Coupé, in addition to the BMW 5 Series and 7 Series and a wide range of BMW-based Motorcycles.
“In addition to these models, Abu Dhabi Motors will feature the top of the range AC Schnitzer vehicle in the form of the M6-based TENSION Street Version, featuring a 550bhp, up from the standard 507bhp, and an astonishing top speed of 331 km/h achieved at the Nardo test track,” explained Husselmann.
“The TENSION also sports extensive aerodynamic accessories, including rear and side skirts, antiroll bars and strut brace, as well as AC Schnitzer modified engine, brake discs and signature alloy wheels and full interior upgrade, all of which can also be fitted to the BMW M5.” TradeArabia News Service
