F1 theme to social media contest

A social media contest organised by the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) will take place to coincide with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Take Pole Position will feature six themed contests - best Bahrain GP drawing, best picture in an F1-themed place in Bahrain, best F1 memory, best F1-themed face painting, most creative F1 graphic design and best Bahrain GP video.
Participants will be required to post their entries on Twitter by mentioning @IAA_Bahrain.
Entries will be posted by the IAA social media team on a specially-created Facebook page and the entry with the most likes for each category will be chosen as the winner.
Meanwhile, the IAA will stage a regular F1 quiz and offer Grand Prix tickets as prizes.
Two F1-related questions will be posted from the IAA Twitter account and participants will be entered into a raffle to win a ticket.
"The contest seeks to reward and encourage the creativity and enthusiasm that captures the spirit of the event," said IAA media department spokeswoman Shaikha Maryam Al Khalifa.
Entries for the best Bahrain GP drawing must be received by tomorrow, those for the best picture in an F1-themed place in Bahrain between Friday and Sunday, and next Monday and Tuesday for the best F1 memory.
Entries for the best F1-themed face painting must be received between April 11 and 13, the most creative F1 graphic design between April 14 and 16 and best Bahrain GP video between April 17 and 19.
Bahrain Formula One is being held from April 20 to 22. – TradeArabia News Service
