Arab Media Group plans revamp

Dubai-based Arab Media Group has launched a restructuring programme across its businesses.
The move, aimed at increasing the organisation’s operational efficiency through the consolidation of some of its support services, will have a limited impact on staffing, it said.
The programme has been initiated in response to the current global economic downturn and its impact on the media industry in the region, a group statement said.
The consolidation however, will not have any impact on the Arab Media Group’s service offerings either at the group or the entities’ level, said the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
