Ithmaar Bank is hosting a luncheon and presentation by Tony Buzan titled “Metapositive Thinking – Applications in Nation Building and Institutional Performance.”

The presentation - organised in co-operation with the Bankers’ Society of Bahrain  and Bahrain Financial Services Development (EDB) – will be held on August 30, 2007, at 1 pm at Bahrain International Circuit.

Tony Buzan is one of the world’s leading authors on the brain and learning.

Buzan has devoted most of his life to promote mental literacy - teaching people how to learn and how to use their brains effectively.

Revenues from his activities, global book sales and the Buzan Centres Worldwide, where Mind Mapping and other learning techniques are taught by licensed instructors, are estimated to be over £100 million ($198 million).

Now in his early sixties, Buzan travels for at least eight months of the year, and has already visited 73 countries.

He is the author or co-author of over 90 books, now translated into 33 languages and sold in over 150 countries.

The event will be attended by high-ranking government representatives and top bank officials and by invitations only.
