Phoenicia acquires Borg-McEnroe rivalry film

Lebanon based distributor Phoenicia Pictures announced at the Dubai Film Festival the acquisition of 'Borg vs McEnroe' for its upcoming 2017 slate in the Mena region.
Borg vs. McEnroe is an upcoming Swedish biographical film focusing on the famous rivalry between famous tennis players Björn Borg and John McEnroe at the 1980 Wimbledon Championships.
The film is directed by Janus Metz Pedersen, from a screenplay written by Ronnie Sandahl, and stars Sverrir Gudnason (“Monica Z”), Shia LaBeouf (“American Honey”), Stellan Skarsgård (“Nymphomaniac”), Tuva Novotny, Robert Emms and Ian Blackman.
Borg vs. McEnroe is planned to be released in fall 2017.
