Isa Award campaign 'gains momentum'

MANAMA, February 24, 2016

Isa Award for Servces to Humanity's campaign 'Cherished Times with the Late Amir His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa' has gained regional and international momentum, according to the award's board of trustees.

The campaign which was launched in Manama earlier this month, has yielded a very positive response with images and footage already being received and more expected as the campaign gains momentum, said a statement.

The three-month campaign aims to collate photographs, testimonies or videos highlighting the humanitarian achievements of the late Amir of Bahrain.

It is being conducted by email and telephone with organisations, individuals, embassies and associations around the world and is also active on social media platforms such as Instagram, facebook and twitter: #wherewasShIsa.

The submissions received will be used to create a new documentary to be shown at the third Isa Awards for Services to Humanity ceremony, which will take place in mid-2017 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, in the presence of senior Arab and international figures from around the world.

Contributions to the project can be made via the award’s website or emailed. - TradeArabia News Service
