Al Dhaheri's Father, Dr Ali Obaid Al–Yabhouni, said: "Rashid’s potential and enthusiasm for racing was obvious from an early age. We wanted Rashid to compete at the top levels from an early age and Italy was the obvious choice as it has toughest karting scene anywhere in the world at the moment. I am so proud of him.
"Not only is Rashid the only Arab driver competing at the highest levels for his age group but he is also consistently producing results. The numbers speak for themselves, over the last three years Rashid has competed in 51 races, of these he has reached the podium 38 times and 21 of them in first place." - TradeArabia News Service
