Peter Pan fantasy show set to open in Doha

DOHA, September 29, 2015

Qatar-based Elegancia, a subsidiary of Urbacon Trading & Contracting, has announced that the fantasy adventure “Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story” will run from October 1-9 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

Moataz Al-Khayyat, CEO of UrbaCon, said: “We promote this entertainment event with our sister company Elegancia, as a show providing a magical and live experience for families and especially suitable for families with children aged 4-15 years.”

“This hi-tech fantasy adventure was very successful in many countries, and it is our pleasure to bring to Qatar to entertain families and children,” added Al-Khayyat.

Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J M Barrie, when a mischievous boy can fly and who never grows up. Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang, the Lost Boys. There they interact with mermaids, Indians, fairies, pirates, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside of Neverland.

UrbaCon Trading & Contracting has been involved in several huge projects over the last few years and has become one of the most respected building contractors in Qatar. In addition to the Mall of Qatar, included among its projects are the Banana Island Resort, the Sheraton Doha Hotel and Convention Center, and the Lekhwiya Stadium at Al Duhail.

UrbaCon is one of several companies owned by Al-Khayat. These companies include general contracting, commercial and residential developments, building materials, various trading companies, hospitals and restaurants with operations in the Middle East. – TradeArabia News Service
