First Moroccan meetings show launched

Globe Network, a specialist in qualified B2B contacts, has announced the launch of Meetings Morocco, the first Moroccan show dedicated to the organisation of seminars and business events.
The show will be held in Marrakech on January 14 and 15.
Meetings Morocco, which had been on the planning board and in discussions with Moroccan professionals, was submitted in its final version to representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, ONMT (Moroccan National Tourist Office), the CNT (National Tourism Confederation), the CRTs (Regional Tourist Councils) and various other organisations such as the confederation of Moroccan companies and the Federation of Travel Agencies (FNAVM).
The event will be a meeting point between the Moroccan meeting industry and event organisers at both local and international levels, and will be in the form of professional B2B meetings with pre-programmed appointments.
Presentation breakfasts, networking and business lunches, an evening event, and an Eductours programme for Hosted Buyers from abroad will also form part of the programme.
Meetings Morocco will notably welcome the CRTs, hotels and hotel chains providing a MICE offer, conference centres, all types of event venues including the most exceptional, incoming agencies-DMC, event communication agencies, transport companies (air and rail), as well as official organisations and the various service providers who work in the events sector. The offer will be complete, qualified, and covers all Morocco's regions.
Meetings Morocco will welcome 100 to 150 international hosted buyers, from Europe, Middle East North and West Africa and the Americas.
Over 800 invitations will also be sent to Moroccan companies. They will be addressed to those responsible for organising professional events.
The companies invited are from widely different sectors of activity such as laboratories, multinational companies established in Morocco, the banking and financial sector, telecoms, agro-food, industrial, aerospace and airline as well as event and communication agencies.
All those invited will enjoy a true VIP welcome, with accommodation in a five- hotel, networking lunches and free transfers, a statement said.
There will be a number of conferences and theme-based sessions during the two days which will focus on the topical subjects of the moment, in the presence of well-known representatives of the profession.
