Bahrain-based media solutions company, Primedia International, has announced the promotion of chief operating officer Sohail Nawaz to the role of chief executive.

Nawaz moved to Bahrain in July last year from the UK where he worked with online marketing agency tp.uk and Yell.com owned by British Telecom, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Primedia has recently signed agreements with European-based Google certified partner tp and Bahrain-based digital agency Urbansoft Technologies, Nawaz said.

“The partnerships are part of Primedia's digital strategy, whereby the company will now offer Google Adwords, website development and social media management alongside its print portfolio,” he added.

“Being able to assist SMEs to win new clients on the Internet via Google AdWords, building responsive and dynamic websites to facilitate this and then creating communities of loyal clients for our clients signals the next phase in our overall vision of connecting buyers with sellers globally across all platforms.” - TradeArabia News Service
