The agency will offer its services to Leo Burnett/Publicis Group Mena’s entire portfolio of agencies.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in London, Holler first joined the Leo Burnett Group in 2011. Holler’s Mena launch will see it spearhead socially-powered digital roadmaps for a variety of local, regional and global brands. The social and mobile agency is set to use actionable insights to create relevant content as well as targeted messaging, especially formulated to spark real-time consumer engagement across all channels.
Raja Trad, CEO, Leo Burnett/Publicis Group Mena, said: “In recent years, media consumption habits across the Mena region have starkly redefined the marketing landscape, reflecting a strong need for an integrated approach to communications solutions.”
He added: “In the past decade or so, the group has remained at the forefront of digital communications here in the Mena region, as exemplified by the launch of LB Digital in 2000 and the acquisition of Flip Media in 2012. Holler’s Mena debut is yet another testament to our investment in the future of digital innovation and transformation.
“By 2015, more than 413 million people will be connected to the Internet*. Last year alone, we executed successful digital strategies for more than 40% of our clients in the Mena region.”
Yousef Tuqan, chief innovation officer, Leo Burnett/Publicis Group Mena, said: “A leader in social marketing and planning, Holler brings to the region a wealth of digital knowledge and cutting-edge tools that are key to any brand’s survival in today’s complex social media age. At Leo Burnett/Publicis Group Mena, we have long understood the pivotal role of innovation in building a powerful brand legacy. Holler’s launch in this part of the world cements our commitment to connecting our clients with their audiences.”
Heading up the new offering is regional director of Holler, Ema Linaker. With 18 years of international experience in omni-channel marketing and digital consumption – working with global Fortune 100 companies and venture-backed start-ups – Linaker has a proven track record in bringing people-powered solutions to businesses in the Middle East.
